Why The Kendall Hearth Exists

Recovery is about more than abstinence. It is about rebuilding a life with connection, accountability, confidence, and hope. The Kendall Hearth was created to provide women with a safe, welcoming home where they can strengthen their recovery while taking meaningful steps toward independence.

We believe recovery flourishes in an environment that feels like home—warm, welcoming, connected, and grounded in everyday life.‍ ‍Here, structure and accountability are balanced with dignity, belonging, and the daily experiences that help women build a stronger future.

Meet Trisha Kendall

The Kendall Hearth was born from both personal experience and a deep belief in what becomes possible when women have the right environment in which to recover and rebuild.

Trisha Kendall brings lived experience in recovery together with a growing academic foundation in Counseling and Addiction Recovery Sciences. Her vision for The Kendall Hearth is shaped by an understanding that the transition from treatment to everyday life can be one of the most important—and vulnerable—stages of recovery.

She is building The Kendall Hearth around the things she believes matter most in that transition: a beautiful and welcoming home, meaningful connection with other women, clear expectations, personal accountability, continued engagement in recovery, and room to become increasingly independent.

The goal is not simply to provide a place to live. It is to create a place women are proud to call home while they build the life that comes next.

Our Mission

To provide women in recovery with a safe, structured, and supportive home where accountability, belonging, personal growth, and sustained recovery can take root.

A Place to Heal. A Place to Belong. A Place to Become.
